I can't stand politically correctness. Call a a spade a f**king shovel, will ya ;-).
Seriously - I've lost so many words because they're considered rude or insulting and I resent that. My vocabulary is not that big to begin with and I dislike having to censor myself for the sake of some self-rightious prune.
I was going to comment on the olympics and the politics of the 3 big wannabe empires, but this is not the place and not the time so I'll refrain.
Appearantly Haru doesn't like what he's hearing. Poor guy - he should listen better - aside from being angry at the weird situation he finds himself in, he should be more attentive when someone actually tries to explain things to him. On the other hand, it is the halucination doing the explanations, so maybe not.

I am NOT a PC person. I do like the new comic very much though. God looks much much better. Maybe it's cause she has no head? mmm me likin' some legs.

..., that last comment was scary,

back to the subject, anyways,

Haru does indeed look Korean in the first panel, to me, he's looked sorta, half between japanese anime mixed with an american teenager, not sure if thats enlightening.

God does looks slightly better, be it for lack of head, or maybe better body perportions buy she/he does look better

@pretty_blossom: Well, I figured Haru (or anyone for that matter) would get a little upset if "God" was calling him a hypocrite. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough on the insults XD

@Nonesuch and Sitrel: it certainly saves time ignoring the head...plus with the heavy blur on her, I was allowed to avoid working on too much details. I'm such a lazy artist.

Political corruptness can take a flying fuck at a rolling donut. While I do avoid some terms to avoid insult to friends, I ignore 'pc' routinely when it interferes with communications.

I use Opera browser routinely for viewing webcomics and my regular Internet activities. The combination of speed and security is great. The abilities like forcing popups to pop under, denying ActiveX, and no code run in eMails makes for secure and enjoyable browsing.

I try to respect political correctness, but I still don't think it is necessary, as others above me have expressed. It just makes talking so awkward sometimes.

Opera is a decent browser...I used to use it too...but nowadays I avoid Firefox/Opera/Explorer for the even more lightweight (and the much faster) text browsers. Obviously, text browsers are also the most secure out of any browser...but naturally you lose a lot of functionality with it (no javascript, images, flash, video, etc.). As long as you don't mind only reading text, it's definitely the most efficient way of browsing the web.

Well the new place does load well here in the public web, but if indeed you need to do all that stuff to see the pages, then it probably won't show on the ship and that is pretty sad for me, because during the deployment I kept reading this easy access site as a moment of zen and self and it kept me sane for those 6 months (again thanks). btw Firefox is what I am using.

@Joseph Salvidor: Well, I hope that BuzzComix works for you during your deployment. Honestly, this was just a rambling as to how much I personally dislike the new setup - as long as the browsers on your ship doesn't dabble with the default settings (like how I like to), it should be fine.

I admit, I am very picky about the websites I view so my standards are often different from others.
