nice look of surprise there on that last panel. I wonder how god could be surprised - omnipotence and all...
The red on the 2nd panel bothers me - it doesn't fit, and makes me think Yasu just shouted at him, which doesn't fit her.
I'm growing to like her outfit - didn't think the color suited her, but it does look nice.

The 'all-mighty' 'all-knowing' cow is probably surprised because something elae was ment to happen and yasu was to say something else.

Also if Christians were like Christ, the world wouldn't be the 'hell hole' it is and they would all walk on water.

Personally I dont put much stock in faith and religon. If I did I'd probably pray for Better spelling, better people and an A+ on my exams.

Dont get me wrong, I respect people's beliefs and all, I admire people who stand by those beliefs.

I just see it as on of the reasons for our problems.

Yasu's pose in the first panel is awkward. On the other hand, I've seen better artists do worse. The red isn't really fitting, it clashes. Use a color with some blue or green in it, I think.
by Jason @ 08 March 2008 02:50 pm
Ah, that's true...I suppose red isn't too good of a color in this situation seeing as I'm imagining Yasu speaking in a normal tone of voice here. I'll change it to something else...
by Sitrel @ 08 March 2008 05:08 pm
I agree with the others, red is definatly not hte colour for this particular strip, but, I do enjoy the look of utter incompitence/surprise on the cows face, (Cow = God Yasu), it's very refreshing, considering she's god and all.
by Jason @ 09 March 2008 01:10 am
Alright, I changed the red to a grayscale. It doesn't match the mood, but (unlike the red) at least it doesn't detract from the scene.

dude. yasu's chestage looks huge in that sweater.

just sayin'. =_=;;

"I like your Webcomics; I do not like your Jason, Your Jason makes stuff so unlike your Webcomics" - ME
by Jasan @ 10 March 2008 07:14 am
*Stretches* Ahhh nothing like another 1 update week pretending to get as many votes as real webcomics when I can't EVEN draw...ahhh it's good to be crazy Jason, what's that? Of course my adult comic didn't come out bad, I DECIDED not to do it, see, when you're as nuts as me you just lie when you feel like it, hey, I'm Jason, god of the universe, I can do whatever fraud I want. r
r
Speaking of did you guys know that tonight during the full moon I will be howling at it? r
Well, I Jason am I total psycho, speaking of did you guys like the hot girls I drew with my art? Okay they weren't really hot, and when I say draw I mean scribble, and when I say art I mean train wreck. r
r
Oops time to go vote for myself and pretend people read this poor EVA rip off later.

@ Jasan - you're fooling no-one but yourself...

@ the real Jason - the gray is better - makes it seem solemn, which is more apropriate. Normal tone of voice only comes with the bubble pointing at her mouth, not at nothing. If you take the trouble to make a new frame, then it gives extra meaning whatever color you do.
by Jason @ 10 March 2008 12:39 pm
^__^ Haha, I'm really pleased now because it seems my script to prevent people from using my name "Jason" works. Plus the lighter shade of gray behind my posts are suprisingly useful here too to differentiate between my posts and Jasan...

Nevertheless, I'm currently playing around with the next page. It might come earlier this week...but don't bet on it.

your work has really improved on the face and facial expressions. I look forward to the further maturation of your style.

Oh and as a christian, the main people who test my faith...and my patience are other christians

I love God's 'Wait what? That wasn't supposed to happen' face. If someone told me they were the son of God I would either think them psycho, or, if I believed them, just turn around, walk off and beat my head on a wall. That shows how I would handle the situation. I'm really impressed with how Yasu handled it... I thought she might, at minimum, give him a weird look... come to think of it, I'm a little disappointed at her lack of reaction... I was looking forward to her going psycho on him...
