| That is really cool! ^^ You should post an enlarged image of the guy's head up close so we can appreciate the details you put into the page.
Great job. You're on the right track, dude, with textures and all. |

| It looks cool.
You know what would look cool? if from now on you made every panel painted this way, shrinked. |

| Thanks for the comments, both of you
@Loki Fenrisulf: I do intend to this on every panel...but I'm not really sure what you mean by "shrinked" |

| I agreee.
And as a digital artist myself, I know for a fact digital colouring through a program like photoshop is a BITCH. Not even one. More like a bitch and a half. Either way, you're off to a wonderful start and you'll only get better. The only problems I'm having right now is with the face and hand - its obviously shaded a bit different and the face looks a bit too dark of a peach. That and the shirt looks a little bright, but maybe thats just me? Either way I love the page, love the story, and wish you loads of luck with this new technique. |

| Thanks for all the comments again...just for a little spoiler, here's a quickie of the next page I'm coloring: link. I'm having trouble coloring the eyes from a side view...it's just so weird...making it all white makes him look like a big-eyed alien, but I really don't know what to do with all that extra space. Clearly, this style of drawing wasn't exactly meant to be colored in this fashion... |

| What you have there is fine. The eye looks wonderful, maybe a little more shading within the iris itself - but none other than that.
And any style can be coloured; I draw about the same style as you do. Ish. Just gotta stick with it. |

| It looks nice. With practice it would be extraordinary. |

| This page looks great - kinda like a water-colors paining.
Regarding symbolism - there's a few attitudes on the subjects - either have no symbolism, have obious stuff like what u said, or have subliminal stuff that the reader is only aware of at the back of his head. The degree of obious vs hidden meaning is optional. Personally I like a bit of hidden stuff in my reading, but obious or no symbolism is fun too occasionally. |
