| hmmm... obious much, but still unexplained reaction from Yasu. U've been setting up that situation from page 1, but it didn't come out quite right. Yasu may feel guilty for disturbing whatever Hakuri was trying to do to the angel in the 1st place, except she doesn't seem aware that he tried to do anything. If not that, there's no reason for her to feel that guilty, and pick a partner that she doesn't know anything about. maybe if her character was the type to pick up stray kittens and fallen birds and heal them, but not much set-up for that. All in all, the best excuse I can see for that behavior is that she's being influenced by the outer story between her and him. In that case, she shouldn't be able to explain why she's doing it now, but will find out later and probably be pissed about it. I dunno - I guess I'm tired of maternal type female characters that will sacrifive themselves for anybody else.
Re: art - bottom panel looks like Yasu doesn't have any eyes. they should be little lines to indicate a fold at that part of the head. Other than that - this is a nice looking page. |

| Ah...ha...someone caught me. I was hoping if I didn't mention it no one would question the completely spontaneous decision by Yasu and weak logistics of this portion of the story. Thus, I was debating what to change a few pages ago while looking over the script, but ended up doing nothing because, as you mentioned, it is a matter of fate. Gotta love the supernatural genre; it lets me get away with stuff like this :) |

Its gotta be Haruki right?... unless its Shino... and I can see Yasu deciding to this, I mean, its not like shes looking at it logically, if it'll save this guy's life then it's worth it. Sometimes you just see someone feeling a genuine surge of altruism and an urge to save someone. |
