"reffered to as a He, not a He"?
by Jason @ 17 September 2007 00:51 am
Sorry...what...? Is my grammar wrong there? The sentence in itself is kinda icky, so I wouldn't be surprised. I'm just saying that I made God a She (female) when he is clearly "supposed" to be a He (male)

So it WAS Haruki, I was honestly wracking my brains since I couldn't decide between him and Yasu >_<, pretty lame huh? Art looks very good though, I'd make that a wall-paper only it'd stretch a lot.
by pretty_blossom @ 17 September 2007 06:19 am
it was predictable, honestly. Something about the human Yasu makes me think "pattern" - he comes 1st, she comes 2nd. I think u said it once before, but if not, then I get the idea from the Wheel Of Time series, where a couple of legendery heroes that keep getting reborn again do the same sort of shtick, only this time around the woman got thrown out of the wheel too early and so she's older than the boy. Don't ask if u don't follow the series - really...
Re: misspelling - don't u know that people read words as a whole and not one letter at a time? that's why when a word has the correct letters and the 1st and last letters are in the right order, it doesn't actually matter the order of the letters inside it to be understood. That's how people communicate on the internet.
Last but not least - I love the picture of Haruki - it's gorgous - sort of 3D effect that looks amazing. He looks like he's coming out of the circle in the background. Really good.

@Kojiki: Perhaps I will make this one into a wallpaper...but actually the anatomy isn't that smooth so I'd want to change that...especially his...square chest...

@pretty_blossom: Yeah, I thought it was pretty predictable too until I read some of the comments on the last two pages. Also, even though I've never watched "Wheel Of Time" I'm familiar with that storyline.

@jason - "watched WoT"?!? it's a book-series, not a TV show!
BTW - Robert Jordan, the author of WoT died yesterday from that desease he's been diagnosed with (something unpronouncible and with a life expectancy of 2 years). He was a good writer, if a bit long-winded. This means that the last book of the WoT series has not been finished and may or may not be published in the style of Douglas Adams' Salmon Of Doubt or maybe some other author will pick it up <shudder at the thought - they never do it properly>.

Oops, my bad. Misinterpretation on my part.
by That_Guy @ 20 September 2007 06:00 pm
The head hanging loosely is much clearer then your previous 3d(?) poses, but it might just be the fact that his hair is hanging. Anyway keep on truckin'. Also I didn't notice anatomy this time, must be the pretty colors.

The last three pages have been GORGEOUS!! I can’t believe no one’s said this yet! Anatomy? Phaw! It looks cool so who cares. If you make this page into a wallpaper I know one person who’ll definitely have it on their desktop.
I probably would have noticed those spelling mistakes *reads WAY too much* but I was away so congratulations on finding them yourself *claps.*
by Ameides @ 22 September 2007 03:40 pm
Holy Carp, there where misspellings? XD I think I can safely say that I was distracted by the pwetty colors!

Wow! I would never have had the patience to do the cool character bits! XD Good on you! *pats back* XD
by Jason @ 23 September 2007 08:48 pm
Thanks for all the comments. The next page is going to be late...again -_-
by Kojiki @ 27 September 2007 02:33 am
@ Ameides, if that Holy Carp thing was intentional I salute you.
by Ameides @ 12 October 2007 02:45 pm
@Kojiki: Yes it was. XD

Those floaty colorful data thing reminds me of an espisode of Ghost in the Shell: StandAlone Complex...
by Ameides @ 12 October 2007 02:48 pm
(oops, wrong page! XD Slight problem with commenting on one page an reading another...)
by Loki Fenrisulf @ 24 November 2007 06:02 pm
Actually, God is supposed to be genderless, can be refered both as he and she... here in Brazil we say He because here nouns have gender, and when something in groups have members of more than a gender or the gender of whatever we are talking is unknown and the word isn't a gender-fixed one (like some animals can only be called a female something or a male something) it is usually refered by the male pronoun.

Well, in other words there isn't anything saying God is either a He or a She, in fact there are things saying it is Both and None.
