I don't mind slower updates as long as they're consistant - say u commit to 1 page a week and stick to it - that would be great. Just don't promise what u can't keep, like a lot of other nice comics that just ignore the readers.

Re: this page - the angel just left? no confirming the kill, no getting rid of that pesky huma standing next to it - just vanishing? How's that intelligent?
BTW - god-yasu is creeping me out.

Life takes precedence over entertaining people, particularly for people who don't have to pay. Single updates are fine.

And you know. I did bring you up once. Had to tell a friend you were hot... lol... *runs away*

Hey interesting comic. I'm interested in seeing where it goes.

I agree that the single update isn't always bad, but do agree that you should be consistent if you are going to do that.

I also feel really sorry for the girl in the torn dress.

It would be a neat twist to see that this time around the 'hero' somehow managed to reverse their roles so that she ends up being the hero in the end and he ends up dying instead. (That'd be kinda hard to pull off but interesting, also dependent on how long you want the story to run.)

Wow... God-Yasu is freakin' scary... oh yeah, and good work, I got an idea whats going to happen next but wont guess in case I'm right. (involves Yasu)

Man, I would totally say that. xD

'Hey, dude, guess what. I've been reading this comic, see? Its AWESOMEEEEEE. Its better than...than...well, if I said what its better than, someone would smack me, but still. Its like. Yay. Wanna know what its called? ROL! Its written by this totally awesome dude named Jason, yeah. Jason is yay. <3 Love reading the little rants he's got. :D So. Yeah. Go read it. NOWWWWWW. :D'

Yes, I sound that stupid when I talk. :D So um. Yeah. Keep drawing. :D And by the way. Dude, this comic's awesome. I think we could all wait a week for a page, it'd just keep us on the edge of our seats. ^_^

That sucks, this comic is way too good to not have lots of readers! I'll put a promotion of it on my next dA journal. ^__^
by Nerdnumber1 @ 11 September 2007 08:11 pm
Single updates is fine, but it would be nice if you could get through the begining before you get bored and start a 5th generation. 1st generation was good, but ended mid story and 2+3 didn't even progress to a point where the main plot was revealed. The art is great, but I'd rather a sprite comic that can maintain a story than the first 8th of a comic with art that would rival Leonardo da Vinci.

I agree with pretty_blossom, it seemed like the angel forgot what it was doing after its first attack. It ignored Yasu, who was an easy target and, coincidentally, part of the group activly opposing the angels. Yasu throwing a rock at the thing couldn't have helped (and pretty much ensured that the angel noticed her.)
by Ameides @ 11 September 2007 10:28 pm
LoneHollow: I would too, but hardly anyone reads my journal... ;_;

Oooo.... God-Yasu is freaking me out too! >.<
Im personally fine with single page updates... ^^
by Kojiki @ 12 September 2007 02:53 pm
Being fair to the angel, its not exactly bothered by the rock is it. Its probably the equivalent of a monkey throwing a rock at a human. We dodge... and we continue walking.

And considering what the angels done so far, I don't think they're really too concerned about what the humans do unless they actually kill or hurt another angel. Just a guess though, since it hasn't done much hostile actions.

I was thinking of the forceful approach. I will go into dark allies and take a brand in the shape of this sites url and etch your site into there skin forever.......what? Anyway, Its a sign of development when you use art to convey words. Ever the evolving artist, eh?
by Ameides @ 12 September 2007 11:05 pm
That_Guy: Yeah, but then theyd associate the site with pain, which is a bad thing... I know! I'll feed them candy while you brand them, that should work! XD
by pretty_blossom @ 13 September 2007 02:10 am
@Kojiki: what was the porpose of the angel's visit in the 1st place? did it even know he's there? Anyway - by previous comments, the angels are pretty much trying to erase humans from the world. I don't see why it should ignore a helpless one standing next to it just because it killed its maker. On the other hand, it might be severly shaken by the nerve of what it did, so it runs away to rethink its actions. Silly thing.
by Zathe @ 13 September 2007 07:34 pm
It was to kill the blue haired guy. If you read the dialouge, it would be pretty simple to dicern.
by Zathe @ 13 September 2007 07:37 pm
*Discern

Stupid typos.

Insert long wirting here.
by Jason @ 13 September 2007 10:53 pm
Thanks for all the comments everyone! They're always...interesting to read >.>

Anyway, regarding the Angel running off - there's a reason for it. Whether or not my reason is a logical one is another story...but I did intend to have the Angel leave Yasu as part of the plot. Plus, I can't have the Angel killing two characters so fast without proper buildup to intensify the emotional aspects of it XD. Heck, I haven't even properly introduced Haruki yet.
