| I think that the slow standing up thing works pretty well!
And that whole posture thing! Now I have ammunition against those that keep telling me to hold my back straighter! Muahaha! Im always slouched over, and my mom keeps pulling my shoulder blades back at an angle impossible to achieve without breaking something... |

| I hungered for more comics and this delivered. I'm liking the irony of how the angel looks, though it seems ineffeciate to having skin (like you mentioned) or why there so skinny (one shot/slice and there cut?). Though my worries could be for nothing, and i'm sure whatever you do will be great.
Though I think a straight back is better for a variety of things such as better air flow and some even think it increases your chance of not getting sick because your veins get more air/blood flow (or something like that). |

| Ameides: i get that a lot too but i have twisted my body in weirder contortion while hiding in some impossibly small place to avoid doing chores |

| I dunno about anyone else but I think that mask is pretttty cool. And, although I'm not sure how it fights, I'm pretty sure that thing is faster than he looks, and it looks sorta predator like to begin with.
And don't scrap Shino and Torio! I still haven't got a clue who Torio is! (and I don't think I missed any obvious hints who he is, unless its Seth) |

| What in the name of the Goddess of the Sun is that thing? |

| Kojiki, I agree the mask looks cool, but I don't understant why you said it must be faster than it looks, for me it looks prety fast. I think it's because it is so thin, and the lack of skin makes him seem to have a larger angle of movements than humans (meaning he can move his members in many different directions we can't, doing things like longer steps or walking in four legs facing up.
Jason, I think the human posture is this way for beign easier to make complex maneuvers with the hands. |

| Hey, who said the prolouge had to be extremely short? No shame on making it longer. Anyways I like the angel. You don't need to go too technical about it. I don't care, cause if it was a real comic you wouldn't see the authors notes so you won't know that you are trying to achieve as close to reality as it should be.
Anyways I love the creature, but one thing bothers me. I've wondered what it was for a while and now I realise. The angel's mouth looks like it's got dimples which doesn't personally make it look very menacing. To me it looks a bit more funny (not haha funny, strange funny) and I don't think that's what you are trying to achieve. And Kojiki Shino and Torio were (very popular) characters from the previous generations. I hope you don't scrap that story or else I'll be very sad T_T |

| Is it weird that I think that the angel looks sad? I can't help but root for the poor guy...
Sweet lord, I am messed up. XD |
| by Orbmal @ 25 July 2007 00:30 am |
| I think the angel gets across the twisted freakish aspect nicely but I kinda find it odd that the butts so low when its bent over given that the arms are infact shorter than the legs. Primates generally have longer arms than legs and with roughly the same amount of muscle on them like a Gorilla or Chimp . |

| Quill, I know who Torio IS I just didn't know who he is... y'know, like Cain, Abel, etc...
And I reckon Loki's actually right about the speed thing, but the metal looks like it would slow it down. |

| Can’t say I like the look of the Angel, but that’s just because I always think bad guys should be attractive. I think that it’s just more menacing. Plus I had expected the cliché angel look (with the wings and all) which I’m a huge fan of. The shape and general look is very menacing though especially the red skin/veins stuff. Though I agree with Matt V. 3.0 on the sad, you-feel-sorry-for-it face.
I’m ok with you cutting Torio but you HAVE to keep Shino!! He’s so cute and funny. Their the comic relief and definitely ad to the story. But if cutting them will make it so you actually finish this generation (because if you cut another one short I swear I’ll scream) then by all means cut them. ;-; |

| 1) I don't mind sticking for the long story if u swear u'll actually finish it one day in the following 10 years. I've been through several web-comics that started great and then the artist decided they want to do something else or that they're not having fun anymore and they just quit withouth a proper ending. I get the fun thing - it's a free comic and everything, but at least give a decent ending.
2) Stooping is not healthy for humans anymore. We're not neanderthals and we're not chimps - check out the flat legs and the way the whole body is designed to be straight. The back muscles need a bit of practice but other than that the whole balance is designed to stand up straight. It's a new thing, and pretty unique in the animal kingdom, but it's real. Anyway - walking around hunchbacked is just not atractive. 3) The angel looks like it doesn't have skin because u pained it red. Dunno what u expected, but that's the result. Off the top of my head I can think of several ways for a creature to protect itself from infection without tough skin - antimicrobbial peptides, high white blood cells count, extra efficient aquired immune system - stuff like that. Take a look at frogs and other amphibians for examples. |

| this is actually very orginal and i think you are being a little too hard on the whole angel drawing thing. You did very well it still looks veyr scary and menacing! |

| I absolutely loved Shino! He was so funnnnneeeeyyyyyyyyyy!!! ^^ Hehe, cows. But I was never really a big fan of Torio. |

| That thing looks so...creepy, good job. |
| by Geddian @ 01 August 2007 06:18 am |
| Definitely a creepy monster. The mask looks kinda baby-faced, and that adds a whole realm of creepy with the bloodshot eyes and muscle-wires everywhere. If this were a movie instead of a comic, I'd definitely see that thing with jerking, spiderlike movement. I like it! |

| Walking slouched creates back problems, our spinal chord just can't take the extrea leverage these days. It also prblem isn't a problem with animals simply because they die younger.
Would a predetermined caste system or something of the like fit the angels society? |

| Bipedal locomotion is sixty percent more energy efficient than quadrpedal locomotion, forward momentum can be maintained by circular stride motions. No creatures' spine is flexible enough to accomodate that task in quadrapeds. |
