| Yasu seems wrapped up with the idea that not every human wants to be saved. Interesting point of view, although how she can ignore all the noise around her when she's trained to do something about her is beyond me.
Can't help u with personal stuff, but I repeat my suggestion to move the whole thing to computer and cut-paste characters to where u need them if the pose isn't different. It makes it look tidier although more rigid on occasions. As for a 4 legged creature - remember that dogs and bats and birds and all earthly vertebrates are 4 limbed, so if u put 4 legs u can't put hands, nor can u put hands + legs + wings at the same time. Bugs and such have more legs, but they're exoskeletons or no skeleton at all, so take that into consideration. The thing that annoys me most about centaurs is that they have 6 limbs. It just doens't work that way. Take a look at satirs for comparison - half man-half goat and they walk on 2 legs. Sphinx have the same setup only 4 legs and no hands (egyptians at least - the greek ones have a pair of wings on the back which is just too much). There was an SF book that solved the problem of centaurs by making them something totally alien, including a weird reproduction system and an acknowledgement that it's not anthing from earth. That was the only time I saw the problem being tackled from a scientific pov and not a fantastic / mythological pov. All I can suggest is practice makes perfect - copy pictures until u get the hang of it. |

| I disagree with Pretty_blossom. You don't always have to make creatures that realistic, especially creatures that have the same weight as a human, but still fly with such small wings. The whole armored, winged human with flaming sword of death is overused, but only because it works and shouldn't be much harder to draw than a human with a cloak. |

| actually jason said something about Angels not being the traditional ones but some sort of genetically engineered super human-animal hybrid race (or at least - that's the impression I got). In that case I have to point out the realistic option - vertebrate skeleton is the same everywhere on earth - even snakes are built on the same lines. Fingers are optional, but the number of full limbs is fixed. Anything other than 4 is not 1 creature but 2 jointed ones. |

| Just draw the 4 legged skeleton, and for got sakes remember the neck.
The most important part with 4 legged creatures I've found is the neck, since the head is actually pretty easy as long as you know where the nose is. |

| Yeah...the Angels are not the typical biblical Angels with white wings and halo...I recieved one or two questions regarding that via email. I called them Angels because they claim to be the "messengers of God" bringing judgment to humans...but they have no relationship with the Archangels of the bible. Nevertheless, I finished my basic design of the Angel (at least one type). Imagine a gorilla-like structure with a futuristic android look. It definitely looks more science fiction...which finally sets Project ROL apart from a typical fantasy comic. Anyway, "it" debuts on page 31. And, when I referred to four-legged critters...I was thinking about reversing joints. You know how us two-legged species have our elbows bending in the a different direction from a dog or a horse? That's what I was messing with...I didn't actually want to make a horse-like creature... |

| Whoa! Thats a good point! Ive never actaully noticed that the bends in our limbs are the wrong way round... That just shows my brilliant observational skills I supposed... XP |

| wrong way around? don't know - I do know that dogs and cats and most 4-legged mammels walk on their toes, so the 1 bend is actually he heel and not the knee. the heel bends the other way around from the knee, but that's about it. |

| I thought the only significant differences among mammals was the length and thickness of the limbs ,feet, "hands",and neck, the shape of the rib cage (blockish, conical or cylindrical) how they form the "nails" , the head, and the type of tail |

| yeah yeah yeah, very late, but whta about that bfg-raolddahl issue: humans are the only species to kill another (no other author has been spreading this theory as much as he has, so i suppose you must have gotten it from his book) and what about the language on this posting??
i'm beginning to like the story, but the language isn't attractive: 'what are you standing here for' is much better when the cloth-wearing guy is walkin right past her....??? |

| Um...no idea what you're talking about. The bfg-raolddahl issue? |
