TWO NEW PAGES. I repeat, TWO new pages. I haven't updated multiple pages on the same day for a long time, so I'm really trying to stress the fact that there is two new pages today. After seeing the next page, you'll understand why I wanted to clump page 84 with 83 to the same day; I'd be cheating the readers if I counted page 84 as a new page next week XD
On the other hand, I certainly enjoyed coloring page 83. However, looking at it now though...it appears I used too many colors. But (as you can imagine) being too monotonous is boring for me, so I splashed in some primary colors to make the experience more enjoyable. The green and blue on the right building might be a bit over the top though...this isn't Disneyland >_>
I read a fasinating article the other day about a new species of worms that were discovered a few years back. These little critters are the only known species to have no mouths or stomachs. They live inside whales and absorb nutrients from the whale's bones simply through physical contact (they absorb food through the pores on their skin). Even more interesting, every one of the worms found by scientist were female! How can this be? Apparently the male worms live inside the female worm's bodies and only develop enough to produce sperm for reproduction. Haha, can't get any more efficient than that, eh?
I'm working really slow on the layout right now. I did somehow manage to make the new layout load faster than this current one despite having a larger banner. It still looks almost the same as the last time I showed you...but here's the preview anyway. Now all I have to do is color Haru and create a few minor color tweaks and the graphics will finally be done. Of course, next comes the tedious task of reprogramming the php, tweaking the databases, and coding the html/css. Luckily, I was smart the last time I programmed the ROL scripts and left a number of comments throughout the code. In case you didn't know, everything on this website (commenting system, comic navigation, security) was hand-programmed by yours truly with the exception of the forums (which I still ended up modifying). Yup, I'm personally proud of it.
Well, that's all I have to say for now. I'll be back next week with another update (hopefully).
