ONE NEW PAGE. I realize that the detailed background on the first panel was entirely unnecessary. However, I think this scene's green bedroom is too bright, peaceful, and CLEAN; I'm completely destroying the image and feeling I was trying to create earlier. Thus, I decided to remind everyone that the first panel is the type of world Haru and Yasu are in right now. Personally, I can't wait to get out of this room and draw more complex backgrounds.

Now. If you have been reading the comments viewers left on Project ROL recently, you are probably expecting what I'm about to say. Lately, there has been some rather unpleasant comments amongst readers. I admit, I am partly at fault this time for carelessly addressing religious matters, so I'm prepared to hear out the complaints. However (next time), if you have something harshly critical or controversial to say, please email me. Best not to get too many people involved since the only person who should be hearing this is the author (me). Really, if you have to publically announce criticism towards me on my own website...you are probably seeking attention more so than wanting to address me.

On the other hand, I am completely flattered that there were so many people online that were willing to take a step forward and defend me. It makes me feel all tingly inside to know that I'm reaching so many people through Project ROL. In fact, despite a few negative words, I'm actually feeling pretty damn good thanks to the riot that occurred on the last page's comments ^_^

Ah, I almost forgot. There's a change I would like to mention regarding the commenting system. Lately, there has been many spam bots (particularly a certain Viagra bot) who keeps leaving advertisments on older pages. Thus, in order to save me the trouble of deleting the spam on a regular basis, I implemented a little script that blocks the usage of proxies for commenters.

As you can probably suspect, this poses a problem to legitamate viewers who are behind a proxy. For now, the only thing I can suggest is disabling the proxy or changing to a different network. Mind you, the code I wrote only blocks the weakest types of proxies...so most proxies used on public networks (libraries, schools, cyber cafes, etc) should not be affected. If you ARE being blocked, I suggest donating money to that public network, because they must be using a VERY cheap server if even an amateur programmer such as myself can detect them (the point of a proxy is to hide the fact you're behind a proxy).

Also, please email me if you think the script is giving you a false positive. That means you are a hundred percent sure you are NOT behind a proxy, yet my script still disallows you to comment. I haven't been able to fix the kinks in the system, because I don't have any means of really testing the script. Fortunately though, I have noticed that the Viagra bot stopped posting ever since I implemented the script a few days ago...

Aaannnndddddd...that's it. I wasted all my writing space again with Project ROL news. Oh well...at least this way, I won't start up another heated discussion amongst readers again. Yikes, I just remembered that I left out the part on new ROL layout. Oh well. Maybe next week.
