One new page uploaded. Personally, I think the coloring is starting to come together rather nicely. Much cleaner this week...in fact, I think the coloring is better than before I bought this tablet (when I used a mouse). I mean, doesn't the clothing look more 3D now?

Nevertheless, I think I need to address a little concern people have had for the last three pages. First off, the drawing style did not change due to the tablet. I only use the tablet for the coloring, so how the characters look has nothing to do with my new equipment. Second, I admit I did not mention the sudden change in the style because I wanted to see how readers would react without being influenced by what I, as the artist, said about it. Third, the adjustment in my drawing style is not intentional; I will elaborate in the next few paragraphs.

For the past month or so, I've been spending time in multiple "art" forums while developing my new coloring technique. Unfortunately, I found that most of the members would nag about my drawings rather than the coloring. They kept suggesting I try realistic portraits to get a better feel of proportions before applying my style to the characters. Well, after a few weeks I gave in and started drawing portraits. It turned out to be not as excruciating as it looks, and I ended up spending a week just drawing photos I found on the web.

However, when I started to work on the comic again, I found that I just could NOT draw like how I use to. It wasn't that I didn't like or was unsatisfied with my old style, I simply couldn't produce it anymore. It was oddly difficult to place those large Anime/Manga eyes and small nose on such a round face. However, since I was determined to get a page out within 8 days of the last update, I tried my best to create a hybrid Japanese/realistic style, which didn't come out too well with the exception of one panel (page 75).

So nevertheless, as you can probably tell, I'm desperately experimenting and searching for my "style" of drawing. I realize it's probably rather exasperating how I keep changing the way things look, but please bare with me. In fact, I would really appreciate it if you would point out things you like or dislike about each new page so that I know what to incorporate and what to ditch.

I know I already bought the thing, but it would still be nice if I could get a little help paying it off.
