One new page, one new preview. You've probably noticed, but the premiere of Yasu's new costume is on this page. Originally I wanted her to wear something light and casual (loose shirt and jeans), but I was feeling really cold that day and decided she should cover herself up a bit more...thus the cute winter look. By the way, there have been a bit of confusion regarding God and Yasu. Hopefully, you can tell from the final panel, but God and Yasu are two separate characters, so don't group them together into one. They (will) have different personalities and beliefs.
I meant to mention this on the last page but it slipped my mind...THANK YOU to Christopher L. for the kind PayPal donation. It is the largest donation yet, and I really appreciate the support. I don't get many money donations, because I don't really push it too hard...so it was quite a pleasant surprise. Thank you again.
And also thank you for all the people who have registered in the forums and began posting. The turnout is MUCH better, and we jumped from 3-4 posts a day to 30-50 posts (the numbers literally jumped tenfold). Of course, we could always use more members, so join up if you haven't already ^_^ Unlike the money donation, the only thing you need to spend here is time.
Plus, I get a lot help from the forum members. I was discussing possible improvements and problems with my art style with some of the new members and they suggested sharper images (less blur) with less bright colors. Well, I tried doing that on this page, and it turned out well. I think I could still make it even sharper, but for now it's at least somewhat of an improvement.
Finally, as my last note, I'd like to welcome you to the new year. I don't have any concrete plans for Project ROL in 2008, though I am considering a few new projects. First off, I've considered recreating the first few scenes of this storyline; no drastic changes will be made to the story...just perhaps a few more pages to smooth out the transition between scenes, fix up some icky dialogue, and use my new style of coloring. Another thing I've considered is creating a new web layout. I have nothing against this current one, but occasional change is nice. Mind you, all of this are just possible projects I MIGHT do later this year...I'm probably not going to attempt any major tasks until at least summer 2008.
Nevertheless, I hope you all have a prosperous year.
