No new updates this week due to exams. I have a series of exams early this week then followed by a few final exams later this week and early next week (don't you just love how professors cram everything to the last three weeks?). Point being, I don't have to time to work on Project ROL until after next Wednesday.

However, you can expect a more frequent updating schedule after my examinations, because I don't believe I have any major plans this Winter Break.

UPDATE: Ah...you know how sometimes you do a chore just to avoid doing something else...? I think that's what happened here (coloring rather than studying for exams). Nevertheless, as a result, the real page 63 has been uploaded.

Anyway, I finally decided to try some "real" soft-shading rather than my usual easier shading. I only did it on the hair, and unfortunately the lighting ended up covering up the most detailed soft-shaded hair (panel four). The other two panels look more like plastic than hair...

Nevertheless, I'm hoping that by the end of this scene, I'll be able to soft-shade everything. For now, however, I will continue only soft-shading the hair until I get the hang of it and move on to something else (skin, clothes, backgrounds). This new scene is rather long, so I'll have plenty of time to practice this new technique.
