Six new pages uploaded. And someone needs a chill pill on this page... Seriously, glowing red eyes?

Humans are stereotypical, racist and prejudiced. But you know what? Domestic dogs are even worse. Seriously...they're like the cream of the crop when it comes to being downright racist. I've known so many owners who have dogs who hate large dogs; who hate black/brown/white/etc dogs; who hate certain breeds of dogs; who hate white men; who hate dark skinned people; who hate blonds; or just simply hate any person other than their owners. If a tall white guy abused a dog as a puppy, the dog would grow up clumping all tall white men together and acting aggressively towards them. Yup, one of my friends had a toy dog that hated tall white men. Tall African Americans are okay, short white men are okay, tall white women are okay...but dognabit -- if that dude knocking on the door is Caucasian, large, and male...that little mutt would bark her head off. I think it's safe to say she was a racist bitch...

I realized recently that humans do, in fact, use more than 10% of our brains. Who in the world started that myth? I never really analyzed the false statement before today, so I used to think, 'we only use 10 percent of our brains...big deal'. However, now that I think about it, it was an utterly ridiculous myth in the first place, and I was an idiot to not see through it. I mean, if ninety percent of our brains is useless, why would losing brain cells be that big of a deal? Why would brain damage be so life-threatening or at least cause severe damage? Why are PET scans so colorful if only 1/10th of the organ is used lol? Anyway, this was one of those 'omg I've been enlightened' moments XD

Regarding the uploaded pages...I'm finally done with the opening scene. So, what'd you think of the graphic novel thus far? Perhaps I went a bit overboard with the peeved girl, but I wanted to really exaggerate her expressions. In my opinion, I did a much better with body language than on my previous works; extra effort was placed in avoiding static poses. And of course, the main obvious difference is the use of backgrounds, because majority of generation 3 lacked any backgrounds whatsoever. Shading is another big improvement though it may not be as obvious since I shifted partially to soft shading, which isn't quite as noticeable as cell shading or hard blocks of shadow.

Whoa...I jumped from topic to topic on today's news entry. I wrote each paragraph on a different day, so that's why the language may seem a bit inconsistent and the topics don't seem to transition very smoothly. Anyway, I'm going to wait a little longer for the next update since, well, I DID just upload SIX new pages. Also expect the vote buttons to come back in a few days. I'm going to register for those top list accounts again ^_^
