One new page, one new preview/sketch. I ran out of space on the speech bubble...so I had to cut short that guy's explanation as to why it is illogical to proceed with the operation.
Anyway, I have some explaining to do regarding
Generation 2 and 3 (link leads back to old pages). I mean, both had REALLY bad endings. Previously, I avoided blurbing out how Gen2 would have turned out to avoid spoiling the related Gen3; now in the current version you're reading (technically Gen4), the story is so different that announcing how Gen2+3 would have ended isn't going to leak any plot twists. Thus, I shall reveal the hypothetical Gen2 and Gen3 story...

GENERATION TWO:
As you may recall, gen2 began with three mysterious characters escaping from a large building in the middle of no where. The scene then cuts to Haruko and Shino walking around randomly and eventually meeting Torio, Yasu, and Keiko. Well, the general idea was that the large building from the beginning was a secret government laboratory working on creating genetially enhanced humans. Haruko and Shino were the two characters (subjects) who escaped the place, however they somehow lost their memory not too long after escaping and started to walk around aimlessly.
Eventually, there would have been other genetically-enhanced humans chasing after Haruko and Shino, trying to bring them back to the lab. Haruko and Shino, however, does not know why they are being pursued. Luckily, with the help of Torio, Yasu, and Keiko, they were able to stay clear of their pursuers. Generally, the rest of the story focuses on Haruko slowly unraveling the truth of his origin and his willingness to accept it as his true past. There was no designated end to this story.

But clearly, I was digressing from that storyline so much I don't think I'd ever finish it through or execute it properly. The problem was that I wanted to make it comical since my previous comic was a humor sprite comic. My goal for the story and my approach to achieve that goal just didn't add up, so I'm glad I didn't try to take it any further than 30 pages, because it would have been an epic failure. Plus I admit now that Generation 2's storyline is kind of lame, shallow, and cliche...but I was still a clueless underage teen back then *laughs*
Nevertheless, Gen3 is going to take even longer to explain (it's much more complex involving Adam/Eve, et cetera). I will discuss it in further detail on the next update.
