Two new pages have been uploaded. I know that on the last update, I mentioned how I will only be uploading one page at a time...but this is an exception since both pages contain a single picture with only one to two sentences on them. By the way, the next page (page 47) ends with an ellipses (...), because technically there's still one more page to this three-page story sequence. Honestly though, I add ellipses to almost everything in place of commas and at the end of sentences, so it probably wasn't too obvious...

Anyway, doesn't today's page look familiar? Yup, it's the same "magic/alchemist circle" concept that I made back in one of my older webcomics. I was scrambling around to find my old drawing, but I couldn't find it so I had to redraw it. Actually, I'm glad I didn't reuse my old version of the "magic circle" since redoing it gave me insight on how to draw a more complex design like on page 47.

On a non-ROL related subject, I was doing a organic chemistry lab the other day when I got trans-Cinnamic acid on my hands. It's generally safe (thus we didn't use gloves), but the stuff smells terrible (in my opinion). In fact, the acid's so pungent, the smell lingered for days on my fingers no matter how much soap I used. The smell is gone now, but I noticed that my pencil still reeks of Cinnmic acid. Well, at least it helped break my habit of chewing on my writing utensil...

Oops, I forgot to mention something. Regarding the previous scene in Project ROL, I read some comments saying how it's peculiar the Angel backed off immediately after fatally injuring Haruki. I planned that scene to end in that specific manner for a reason, so it's not a plot-hole or a logical error (on my part, I mean...whether or not it's an error in the world of Project ROL is a different matter). In fact, some of the characters will be discussing (debating? arguing?) about it in a few pages.

By the way, did you know that the longest one-syllable word in the English language is "screeched?"
