Page 38
I'm back from my 'hiatus' where I was supposed to create a ton of pages...but didn't, as evident from the unfinished three pages I uploaded today. In short, I ended up drawing 4-5 pages, but haven't found the time to ink and color them yet. Nonetheless, it is much less than I had hoped; I definitely am not going to have 5 pages in reserve by the time class starts for me (this coming Monday).

[EDIT: COLORED PAGES ARE UP]

Anyway, on a completely different subject, not all sponges are created equal. I used to wash my bathroom weekly with an old sponge, which served me very faithfully for quite a while now. However, it was starting to get old, so I replaced it with a new sponge from some cheap brand. I figured the price shouldn't matter since a sponge's a sponge, right? Apparently not. It seems cheaper sponges make the mess even worse than when I started. In fact, it adds more residue every time I wipe with it. How in the world does that work?!

On yet another unrelated subject, I noticed something recently. See, during the summer I walk my dog at least five to six times a week in the evenings before the sun sets. I can't go earlier, because I'm afraid my baby girl will burn to a crisp under the 110 degree Arizona heat...and I can't go after the sun sets because then I couldn't fulfill my duties as a pet owner by picking up after my baby girl when she does her 'business' (it's impossible to find poop at night @_@). Er, I got sidetracked there -- anyway, I noticed a pattern while walking my dog. I see many different people walking their dogs during the evening and morning...but they are always middle aged to elderly folks. Apparently nobody my age (or younger) walks their dogs. I suppose it's not exactly a ground-breaking or insightful observation...but it did strike me as a rather odd trend. Did I miss the meeting where they informed us it was uncool and not hip to walk our dogs? Or am I the only Arizonian teenager who realized dogs need exercise too? Which reminds me...did you know the United States have the most obese domestic dogs in the world? Hmm...the United States also has the most obese children...perhaps the two statistic correlate lol

On the topic of daily activities/chores (kinda)...I was trimming the bushes the other day. Usually it's a somewhat brief activity, but this time was a bit different. I was stupid enough to accidentally tangle some wires with the teeth of the chainsaw (or electric leaf trimming thingie)...resulting in an extra hour spend rewiring the pathetic chainsaw (or electric leaf trimming thingie). By the time I finished fixing the damn thing, the sun had already set and I couldn't see a thing, so I ended up trimming the bushes into a very funny looking ball-shape. Think...American football...that's the shape the bushes ended up becoming (as I found out the next morning). Heh, it seemed pretty funny at first, but now it's just lame. They're the ugliest bushes in the neighborhood O_o

Um...my entry is a bit unorganized today. It's more a set of mundane thoughts looming in my head regarding the insignificant happenings and observations that recently occurred the last few days. And why did that previous sentence seem to have so many big words in it?
